Thames Valley Athletics Trust
In the late 1990’s, Eton College, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough Borough Council joined forces to build one of the country’s leading indoor and outdoor athletics training venues in Eton- Thames Valley Athletics Centre. The Thames Valley Athletics Trust was formed and in 2002 Slough Community Leisure Centre was successfully chosen as the preferred management partner.
Herschel Grammar School
With the help of lottery funding, in 2004 Herschel Grammar School built Herschel Sports- an indoor sports facility with outdoor astroturf pitches. Whilst the students now have the best school sports facilities during the day, Slough Community Leisure has been invited to provide a service to the local community during the evenings, weekends and school holidays.
