Slough Community Leisure - Aspiring to be the best provider of affordable leisure and event venues

Slough Community Leisure manages the following leisure and event venues:

Slough Community Leisure (SCL) is a Leisure Trust that was established in 2000. It developed out of a relationship with Slough Borough Council with the aim of providing effective and efficient management of the leisure facilities in Slough.

Due to the success of the Trust, Slough Community Leisure has also been invited to manage facilities in partnership with the Thames Valley Athletics Trust and Herschel Sports.

Slough Community Leisure prides itself in being a not-for-profit organisation. In short, this ensures that any profits generated by the Trust are reinvested back into the facilities. In its first seven years SCL, alongside its partners, has been able to invest around £4m into upgrading and adding new services for the community.

Slough Community Leisure has been successful in reducing the burden of leisure facilities on the local tax payer. Since 2000, Slough Community has been able to reduce the annual grant received from Slough Borough Council by over £600,000 a year.
